The Zen Retreat” with a setting most conducive to developing a meditation practice, there are practical constraints on the amount of support we can properly provide. Please read the following material prior to your retreat to learn more about these restrictions. We are unable and unqualified to provide medical or psychological care. As a result, unless there are unforeseen circumstances, we ask that you take care of your own medical needs while you are here. The Unalome Project reserves the right to refuse participation in the retreat activities at any moment. If Unalome Project determines that you are unable to contribute to your retreat constructively, you can be asked to leave. The Katsu Retreat is a platform for participants to learn, grow and discover themselves. We are about acceptance, inclusion and tolerance; thus, we welcome a diverse range of Participants, Guests, Artists and Presenters, providing they act within the framework of law. We encourage all participants to be kind and courteous during the program. However, since the nature of the work requires examination of and the dismantling of conditioned beliefs, some of the content of this workshop may seem uncomfortable or offensive to some people. Certain statements or discussions may contain words or language that are considered profane, vulgar, or offensive by some people. Discourse or discussion may contain representations of people or events which may be revered by some groups and cultures. There is no claim of accuracy of historical facts or religious references in of any topics discussed. This workshop may include frank discussion of controversial topics.

If you are taking prescription medications for any reason, please ensure you bring enough supplies with you to continue treatment for the full duration of your retreat. Discontinuing taking your prescription medications during a retreat is grounds to be asked to leave the retreat. On your arrival, we will also ask for some details regarding your prescription medications. This is so that, in the event of an emergency, we can give the necessary information to Emergency Medical Services personnel. Otherwise, such details remain entirely confidential.
