We invite you to read these terms carefully, as they constitute a legally binding agreement between you and The Unalome Project. By accessing our website, registering for our programs, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

In these Terms and Conditions:

  • “The Unalome Project,” “Organization,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to The Unalome Project and its affiliated entities, facilitators, teachers, and representatives.
  • “Services” refers to all offerings provided by The Unalome Project, including but not limited to courses, workshops, retreats, digital content, and events.
  • “Platform” refers to our website (unalomeproject.com), mobile applications, and any other digital interfaces through which we provide our Services.
  • “You” or “Participant” refers to any individual who accesses our Platform or engages with our Services.
  • “Content” refers to all materials, including but not limited to text, images, audio, video, rituals, practices, and methodologies created or provided by The Unalome Project.
  • “Transformative Experience” refers to any program, course, workshop, or event designed to facilitate personal growth, spiritual awakening, or psychological development.

2. REGISTRATION AND ELIGIBILITY

2.1 Accurate Information

By registering for our Services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself
  • Maintain and promptly update your information as necessary
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

2.2 Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years of age to register for and participate in our Services. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2.3 Program-Specific Requirements

Certain transformative experiences may have additional eligibility requirements, such as:

  • Previous participation in foundational programs
  • Completion of preparation materials or practices
  • Mental health screening or disclosures
  • Physical health considerations

Such requirements will be clearly communicated prior to registration.

3. PAYMENT, PRICING, AND REFUNDS

3.1 Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise specified
  • All fees are listed in the designated currency on our Platform
  • We accept payment through our authorized payment processors
  • Payment information is secured and processed in accordance with industry standards

3.2 Pricing and Changes

  • All prices are subject to change without notice
  • The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed at the time of transaction completion
  • Special pricing, scholarships, or payment plans may be available and will be clearly communicated when applicable

3.3 Refund Policy

Our refund policy varies by program type:

For Digital Courses:

  • 100% refund if requested within 7 days of purchase and before accessing more than 15% of the content
  • No refunds after accessing more than 15% of the content
  • No refunds for downloadable content once access has been provided

For Live Online Programs:

  • 100% refund if requested at least 14 days before the program start date
  • 50% refund if requested 7-13 days before the program start date
  • No refunds if requested less than 7 days before the program start date
  • No refunds after the program has begun

For In-Person Retreats and Immersions:

  • 100% refund (minus a 10% administrative fee) if cancelled at least 45 days before the event
  • 50% refund if cancelled 30-44 days before the event
  • No refunds if cancelled less than 30 days before the event
  • Transfer to another participant may be permitted at our discretion

4. CODE OF CONDUCT

To maintain the integrity of our transformative container and ensure a respectful environment for all participants, we expect you to:

4.1 Personal Conduct

  • Engage authentically and honestly in all activities
  • Honor your own boundaries and those of others
  • Take responsibility for your experience and reactions
  • Participate fully in the program to the best of your ability
  • Practice self-care and communicate your needs appropriately

4.2 Community Engagement

  • Treat all participants, facilitators, and staff with respect and dignity
  • Honor the diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences within the community
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding personal shares and experiences of other participants
  • Refrain from soliciting or promoting business to other participants without consent
  • Engage in constructive communication, even during disagreement or challenge

4.3 Prohibited Behaviors

The following behaviors will not be tolerated:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind
  • Disruptive or aggressive behavior that compromises the experience of others
  • Violation of others’ privacy or boundaries
  • Attending sessions under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed substances
  • Recording, photographing, or sharing content without explicit permission

Violation of these guidelines may result in temporary or permanent removal from programs without refund, at our sole discretion.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

5.1 Ownership

All content, materials, methodologies, and proprietary practices provided through our Services are the exclusive intellectual property of The Unalome Project or its licensors. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Written materials and downloadable resources
  • Video and audio recordings
  • Ritual designs and sequences
  • Methodologies and transformative frameworks
  • Graphics, symbols, and artwork

5.2 Limited License

By registering for our Services, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Access and use the materials for your personal growth and transformation
  • Download designated materials for personal reference
  • Participate in the experiences as designed

5.3 Restrictions

You expressly agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on our content
  • Use our methodologies or practices to conduct your own commercial workshops
  • Record, share, or broadcast any live or recorded sessions
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the materials

Violations may result in immediate termination of your access to our Services and potential legal action.

6. PARTICIPANT ACKNOWLEDGMENTS AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

6.1 Nature of Transformative Work

By participating in our Services, you acknowledge that:

  • Transformative experiences may be emotionally and psychologically challenging
  • The journey through personal growth often includes discomfort, vulnerability, and confrontation with limiting beliefs
  • Results vary significantly based on individual engagement and readiness

6.2 Assumption of Risk

You voluntarily assume the risks associated with participation, which may include:

  • Emotional or psychological discomfort
  • Triggering of past traumas or unresolved issues
  • Physical discomfort during certain embodiment practices
  • Challenges to existing belief systems and worldviews

6.3 Personal Responsibility

You agree to take responsibility for:

  • Your own well-being during and after programs
  • Setting appropriate boundaries for your participation
  • Seeking professional support if needed
  • Disclosing relevant health conditions or concerns before participation

7. MEDICAL AND PROFESSIONAL ADVICE DISCLAIMER

7.1 Not a Substitute for Professional Care

Our Services are intended for personal growth and transformation and do not substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. The content and experiences we provide are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physical or mental health condition.

7.2 Consultation Recommendation

We strongly recommend consulting with appropriate healthcare providers or licensed professionals before beginning any new practice that may affect your physical or mental health, especially if you have pre-existing conditions or concerns.

7.3 Emergency Situations

Our Services are not suitable for crisis intervention. If you experience a medical or psychological emergency, please seek immediate professional help through local emergency services or crisis hotlines.

8. RECORDINGS AND MEDIA

8.1 Session Recordings

Most of our live sessions may be recorded for the following purposes:

  • Providing access to participants who miss sessions
  • Quality assurance and facilitator training
  • Documentation and improvement of our programs
  • Protection against misrepresentation

8.2 Participant Consent

By participating in our Services, you grant consent for audio and video recording of sessions in which you appear. If you do not wish to be recorded, you may:

  • Turn off your camera during online sessions
  • Notify us in advance to make appropriate arrangements
  • Sit in designated non-recording areas during in-person events

8.3 Use of Recordings

We may use session recordings for:

  • Program archives accessible to registered participants
  • Creating educational or promotional materials
  • Internal training and quality improvement

Personal shares and identifying information will not be used for promotional purposes without specific additional consent.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

9.1 Scope of Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Unalome Project, its founders, facilitators, employees, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use our Services
  • Any actions or decisions you make based on our content
  • Personal injury during participation in our programs
  • Emotional or psychological responses to our programs
  • Technical issues or interruptions in service
  • Third-party links or resources

9.2 Maximum Liability

If, despite the above limitations, The Unalome Project is found liable for any loss or damage arising from or related to your use of our Services, our liability shall be limited to the amount you paid for the specific program or service giving rise to such liability.

9.3 Essential Purpose

These limitations of liability are fundamental elements of the basis of the bargain between The Unalome Project and you. We would not be able to provide our Services on an economically feasible basis without these limitations.

10. TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION

10.1 By The Unalome Project

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to some or all of our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Conduct that disrupts the transformative environment
  • Actions that threaten the wellbeing of other participants or staff
  • Failure to make required payments
  • Violation of applicable laws

10.2 By Participant

You may terminate your participation in our Services at any time by:

  • Discontinuing use of our Platform
  • Withdrawing from programs (subject to the refund policy)
  • Deactivating your account through available options

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your right to access and use our Services will immediately cease
  • Any outstanding payment obligations will remain in effect
  • Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

11. CONFIDENTIALITY

11.1 Participant Confidentiality

You agree to maintain the confidentiality of personal experiences, shares, and information disclosed by other participants during our programs. This includes:

  • Not discussing identifiable personal shares outside the program
  • Not recording or documenting others’ experiences without consent
  • Respecting the privacy of all community members

11.2 Our Commitment to Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting your privacy and confidentiality. We will not share your personal information or experiences except:

  • With facilitators and staff directly involved in your programs
  • As required by law or court order
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of The Unalome Project, our users, or the public

12. CHANGES TO SERVICES

12.1 Program Modifications

We reserve the right to make changes to our Services, including but not limited to:

  • Modifying program structure or delivery methods
  • Substituting facilitators when necessary
  • Adjusting schedules due to unforeseen circumstances

12.2 Notification of Changes

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes that may affect your participation. For minor changes or adjustments, notification may be provided during the program itself.

13. DIGITAL CONTENT AND PLATFORM

13.1 Access Period

Access to digital content is granted for the specified period indicated at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated:

  • Course content is available for 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Live program recordings are available for 3 months after program completion
  • Membership content is available for the duration of active membership

13.2 Technical Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary technology and internet connectivity to access our digital content. We are not responsible for inability to access content due to local technical issues.

13.3 User Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

14. COOKIES AND TRACKING

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our Platform to enhance user experience and analyze usage patterns. By using our Platform, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions or your use of our Services shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

18.3 Alternative Dispute Resolution

Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to:

  2. Participate in good-faith mediation or arbitration if direct resolution is unsuccessful

These steps are designed to provide an efficient and cost-effective way to resolve disputes.

19. SEVERABILITY AND WAIVER

20. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any program-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Unalome Project regarding your use of our Services, superseding any prior agreements between you and us.

21. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our Platform. Your continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
