We don’t offer answers. We offer a cognitive reset. This work is for those who have exhausted the self-help industry and are still hungry. It’s a 21-day process to dismantle the narratives you’ve mistaken for yourself. We start with meaninglessness to see what remains when all your stories dissolve. This is not an invitation to become better. It is an invitation to see what is real.

What Happens

[ the curriculum ]
Stage 1:
Seeing the Architecture
We begin with a cognitive reset, using nihilism to clear the ground. You will map the core patterns (schemas) that automatically run your life and construct your identity. The question isn’t ‘who are you?’, but ‘what mechanism is running?’
Stage 2:
Interrupting the Patterns
You are not a single self, but a transient collection of thoughts and sensations. We use Zen methods and Gestalt experiments to notice these parts without a story. Curated films are used as tools to bypass your rational mind and reveal your programming.
Stage 3:
Testing the Work
We trace your core declarations about life to their origins. This involves guided work to confront and renegotiate the emotional scripts you inherited. This is not about healing the past, but about letting it lose its grip on your present.
Stage 4:
Returning to the World
After the dismantling, what is left? The work concludes with you authoring new declarations—not as affirmations, but as stances from which to engage with reality, without illusion.

Why do this now?

There is no urgency. Your patterns are patient; they will be there next year. The real question is how much longer you want to live inside of them. The choice to look is always available. The cost of not looking is that you will continue to get the results you’ve always gotten.
What Makes It Different
We are not a self-help workshop. We are an anti-self-help workshop. We don’t add; we subtract. We start with nihilism, not affirmations. We use cinema as a tool for subconscious pattern recognition, not as entertainment. This work proposes you were never broken.
Myths We Dismantle
The myth that you need to be fixed. The myth that meaning is something you find outside yourself. The myth that you are a stable, coherent self. The myth that freedom is comfortable.

What You Actually Get

[
]
We promise no outcomes. No happiness, no success, no peace. This is not a product that delivers a result. It is a process of unlearning. Any shifts you notice are your own to claim and your own to test. The only thing you will get is a direct look at the machinery of your own mind.

What people say

"Nothing changed, and yet everything was different. It was like breathing for the first time."
Megha KP, Architect
"The workshop was a revelation, not of some grand truth, but of the simplest things that I had always overlooked."

"I count this among the events that changed my life." - Siddharth Shah, Senior Marketing Manager

Facilitated by:

Shaurya Singh
Shaurya Singh is the creator and facilitator of Nine Steps to Nothing, a transformative 21-day workshop that has guided participants through 24 batches over eight years. Integrating philosophy, psychology, and cinema, his approach challenges conventional self-help paradigms by focusing on “undoing” rather than fixing. Through existential inquiry and identity deconstruction, he guides seekers toward authentic self-discovery and liberation from conditioned narratives.

"My job is to make myself obsolete. The only authority in this work is you."

You have spent your entire life constructing a self. Are you brave enough to see what you are without it?

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this therapy?
No. This is an educational and philosophical workshop. It is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological treatment. While the work can be revealing, it is not designed to diagnose or treat any condition. You are expected to be responsible for your own psychological well-being.
Maybe. Or you might feel worse. The aim is not to feel better, but to get better at feeling. This process involves confronting uncomfortable truths and dismantling comforting illusions. It prioritizes clarity over comfort. Many participants report a sense of profound liberation, but this often comes after a period of disorientation.
We don’t provide recordings. The workshop is a live, shared container. Your presence is part of the work, for yourself and for the others in the small group. If you know you cannot commit to all nine sessions, we ask that you apply for a future batch when you can fully participate.

This work assumes you’ve tried other approaches and found them lacking.
If you’re completely new to personal development, start elsewhere first.
We don’t do gentle introductions or basic self-help. You’ll need to
handle direct feedback and uncomfortable questions.

No. We don’t promise you’ll feel better, clearer, or more fulfilled.
Some people leave angry or confused. Both can be honest reactions to
seeing what’s true. We guarantee only that the work will be direct
and uncompromising.

This work can be intense and is not suitable for everyone. If you have serious physical or mental health conditions, consult your healthcare provider first. We’re not therapists or doctors. Your participation is your responsibility.
