The Instructions

Formulating clear, specific, and meaningful intentions is crucial for success in “The Nine Intentions” exercise. To guide you in this process, here are some detailed instructions:

1. Define Your Values:
Before setting intentions, reflect on your core values. What matters most to you in life? What principles do you want to guide your actions and decisions? Identifying your values will provide a foundation for setting intentions that are aligned with your deepest desires.

2. Focus on What You Want, Not What You Don’t Want:
Frame your intentions as positive affirmations. Instead of focusing on what you want to avoid or overcome, state what you desire to achieve or experience. This shift in mindset promotes a more positive and empowering approach.

3. Be Specific and Measurable:
Avoid vague and general statements. Instead, clearly define what you want to achieve. What does success look like for each intention? This specificity allows you to track your progress and measure your achievements.

4. Make Them Actionable:
Ensure your intentions are not mere wishes but concrete goals that require action. Include verbs that describe the steps you need to take to bring your desires to fruition. This action-oriented approach encourages active participation and increases the chances of success.

5. Set Realistic and Time-Bound Intentions:
While ambition is important, setting unrealistic expectations can lead to disappointment. Consider your resources, capabilities, and time constraints when setting intentions. Set achievable goals with realistic timelines to avoid overwhelm and maintain motivation.

6. Align Your Intentions with the Goddess Archetypes:
As you explore each Goddess archetype during the course, reflect on how their qualities and attributes can help you achieve your intentions. Consider incorporating these qualities into your daily life and actions to support your goals.

7. Keep Your Intentions Positive and Uplifting:
Use positive and encouraging language when formulating your intentions. Focus on the joy, fulfillment, and satisfaction that achieving your goals will bring. This positive mindset fosters a sense of optimism and determination.

8. Write Down Your Intentions:
The act of writing down your intentions helps solidify them in your mind and increases your commitment. Use the form provided to write down nine intentions. Create a visual representation of your intentions, such as a vision board or a personal mantra, to serve as a constant reminder of your goals.

9. Review and Refine Your Intentions Regularly:
As you progress through the course and experience the different Goddess archetypes, you may find your priorities and desires shift. Regularly review your intentions and refine them as needed to ensure they remain aligned with your evolving values and goals.

10. Celebrate Your Progress:
Recognize and celebrate your progress, no matter how small. This positive reinforcement will help you stay motivated and maintain your commitment to achieving your intentions.

Reflect:
Identify one negative thought or fear that often holds you back, and reframe it as a positive, action-oriented intention.
