Goddess Chandraghantā
Chandraghantā, the third manifestation of the goddess Durga, is revered as a fearless warrior and a fierce protector. Her name is derived from the half-moon (chandra) that adorns her forehead in the shape of a bell (ghanta). She is depicted riding a tiger and wielding ten weapons, emitting a roar that strikes fear into the hearts of her enemies.
