The Ego death is the concept that was introspected and explored in great detail for this week and I understand that to be a process of Nihilism. The total destruction of the constructs, beleifs, opinions, stance, View points, goals, milestones to reach or achieve-  the sum total all of which would probably paint a portrait of who I think I am or who I should be. By theory, yes, I imagine that to be an exhilarating experience. The feeling of being liberated from the shackles of societal or parental expectations.  But what lies on the other side of this break down of identity? What is the motivation or the probable lack of it ? What do we make of ourselves?  As much as the freedom of that  must be  liberating , the unknown equally grips me with an inexplicable fear. Is it sunshine or Darkness? What happens to this journey of life. Because for me the thought is more ascetic and barren.
